Kite Festival News Update
Hi everyone
It has been very hard to coordinate the fliers this year.
In the Arena this year will
The Flying Squad
Team Spectrum
Ex Grads
Stopsley Fliers powerkite team
Around the arena you will find the Aeolian Wind Gallery all the way from the Netherlands
A plethora of international Single Line Kite Displays from our International guests.
Saturday will once again be an informal flying day with no fixed timetable but we will have displays in the arena throughout the day.
Sunday will run to a timetable that is subject to change due to the wind conditions
We will also have orange rolling for the first time ever on the Dunstable Downs!
Another attraction we hope to bring you is teddy bear parachuting again weather permitting.
Myself (Joe Brown) and my colleague (Stephen Hoath) along with The Volunteers and Staff at the Chilterns Gateway centre look forward to seeing you there.
And please don't forget a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and to drink plenty of fluids in this heat.

STACK competition this weekend
This weekend sees the STACK (Sport Team And Competitive Kiting) organisation hold a round of their series at the Dunstable Downs.
We would like to point out this is not the Kites Festival. That will still be held in July.
You are more than welcome to watch the teams compete today and tomorrow.
